I forgot to mention we came to Detroit, where we have been for the past 3 months or so. Home of Lions, Tigers, and Coney Dogs, which is a hot dog...

Thank you all for keeping updated with the blog about mine and Jeremy's travels, for now we are postponing our travels, until warmer weather and efficient funds come our way!
In the mean I will be trying to update the blog with more information on our travels and what we are currently doing! Not to mention I will be opening a store on our site, selling homemade soaps, and handmade greeting cards for you to enjoy! Again, thank you for your support, keep updated by following my Instagram and/or Facebook page! Check out these helpful articles on the "How To's" of our nomadic nonsense roadtrip!
Less city, more pretty! I went to a small store where they sold all fresh produce from California! Ha, Winter weather...what!? Fed some crazy ducks and seagulls at a pond, and saw the beautiful country side of California!
Thanks to a great recommendation, Jeremy and I visited the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose! With great artifacts, mummies, and replicas of statues we had a lot of fun in this museum!
One of the most spectacular things I have ever seen is the Redwoods. Trees so massive and beautiful you couldn't help but be in "awe" as you passed by each one. It was as if we were in another world, in a secret forest. We drove through both Prairie Creek and Humboldt Redwood Forest, entranced by the trees.
All along the shore there was so much to see! Lighthouses, rock formations and crashing waves! The Oregon Coast was absolutely amazing!
After a wonderful time going back and forth between Portland and Seattle, visiting family and celebrating the holidays, it is now time that we get back on the road! We're headed south for some sun! Keep updated by following my Instagram!
After a long holiday week and being in the city, we finally went to the coast! Pacific City is a cute little town with a great Cape! Off of the beach was a huge rock, called Haystack Rock with a hole like feature!
Bannock Bread is a simple bread that is great to make when you have very little ingredients. Very similar to a traditional flat bread, bannock bread is not only filling but easy to make! Check out our recipe by clicking the link below!
While we travel I like paint odd things, one being these shells that I found near a lake we camped at, there were thousands, so I grabbed as many as I could. Painting them is a lot of fun, and coming soon will be a Nomadic Nonsense store filled with fun things from our adventures! Keep updated by following me on facebook or instagram!
Hardy and Healthy, this is the split pea soup recipe I use when we are traveling and need a warm meal to warm our bellies! Try it, enjoy it...
Well, we are in Seattle! Jeremy went to play an open-mic at a cool little bar, and I saw a chunky squirrel!
We know we haven't posted anything too exciting lately but do not worry!
Coming soon will be information on just how we do it. From bannock bread recipes, to split pea soup (yummy!) we will have the details just for you! Find out how we survive on $10 a week while we are traveling, and what we do to keep entertained. We know you're excited to hear all the dirty details! |
