There is nothing like food cooked over a campfire! There is a great joy in cooking and eating outdoors! Whether you are camping for just a night, or weeks at a time, it is important to make sure you eat a healthy and hardy meal to keep your energy levels up! There are tons of great recipes that are both hardy and healthy, that you can make day after day, without breaking your bank. Fruits and vegetables are a great way to get vitamins for very inexpensive. Sometime cooking outdoors can be hard, after traveling we highly recommend a simple little pot and pan to cook on, aluminum foil (the savior to cooking outdoors), a dutch oven and a small travel stove that works off of propane or small pieces of wood.
